Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems

Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures

Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects

Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning

Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

Follow safety procedures and adhere to building codes and regulations

Qualifications:

Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including the ability to read schematics and blueprints

Experience in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
