Staff Accountant

Red Jacket Beach Resort, 1 S Shore Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, USA. Cape Cod's Red Jacket Resort collection is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will provide support and assist the Director of Finance in the day‑to‑day financials of the resorts. The Staff Accountant is responsible for safeguarding the assets.

• Perform research with guest disputes and chargebacks.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end process including posting journals and running reporting.
• Prepare ownership reporting.
• Payroll, accounting and journal uploads
• Cost allocations
• PTO / Vacation accruals
• Fill in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform duties, special assignments, and projects as requested by management.

• Must have 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or payroll within the hospitality or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience required.
• Advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
• Up to date with USALI knowledge.
• Experience with Profit Sword and Acumatica preferred but not required.
