Accounts Receivable Specialist Looking for an opportunity to use your accounting & billing skills in a role that makes a difference? Latham Centers is seeking a detail-oriented & dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the financial operations of our organization. In this role, you will oversee billing, accounts receivable, cash management, & reconciliations while working closely with members of the Business Office, program leadership, & outside funding agencies.

- Manage monthly billing, accounts receivable, & cash activity for the agency
- Prepare & maintain billing, invoicing, & attendance-based reimbursement records
- Submit invoices through agency forms, state systems, online portals, & grant billing processes
- Reconcile accounts receivable, cash receipts, deposits, & operating bank accounts
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, transfers, & collection activity; follow up on outstanding receivables
- Prepare journal entries & support month-end financial reporting
- Manage Social Security representative payee funds, resident benefit account transfers, food stamp income, & student account reconciliations
- Assist with contract billing, funding issues, client funding verification, & annual audit preparation
- Provide backup support for payroll, accounts payable, Donation Reconciliation, & Other Business Office Functions
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver?s license
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience with accounting software;
Dynamics - Experience Preferred
- Strong Attention To Detail, Organization, & Time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality & communicate effectively with staff & funding agencies
- Preferred: 1 year of billing & accounts receivable experience preferred
- Bachelor?s degree preferred or 4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
