Coy's Brook Landscaping is hiring for our growing Sitework & Construction Division.
This is not a lawn maintenance or gardening position
.
Our construction crews perform excavation, grading, drainage, driveway construction, retaining walls and structural sitework throughout Cape Cod. You'll work around excavators, skid steers, loaders, dump trucks, lasers and construction equipment every day.
We're looking for construction-minded people who want to build a career in excavation and sitework. Whether you already have experience or are eager to learn, we provide opportunities to develop new skills, operate equipment, earn licenses and certifications, and advance as our construction division continues to grow.
Responsibilities- Perform rough and finish grading using lasers, string lines, and layout tools
- Install drainage systems including pipe, catch basins, drywells,and drainage structures
- Excavate trenches for drainage, gas, electric, foundations, and other sitework projects
- Prepare gravel driveways and subgrades for paving
- Build retaining walls and other structural hardscape features
- Assist with concrete forms, pours, and foundation work
- Operate and assist with skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, loaders, and other construction equipment
- Drive company dump trucks to haul loam, gravel, stone, and construction materials (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a construction crew
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Pride in producing quality work,not just getting the job done
- Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Experience in construction, sitework, excavation, landscaping, paving, utilities, or concrete is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus
- Like working with dirt, stone, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Take pride in building things correctly the first time
- Enjoy grading, drainage, and precision work
- Want to learn equipment operation and grow your construction skills
