Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually (DOE)
Job description:
Key Responsibilities- Review blueprints , plans, and project documentation to understand project scope
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and construction components
- Prepare accurate cost projections including labor, materials, and subcontractor work
- Solicit and review proposals from trade partners and suppliers
- Assemble comprehensive estimate packages and client proposal documents
- Identify project requirements and potential cost considerations
- Work closely with management, clients, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
- Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records
- Occasionally visit potential project sites to support project evaluation
- Minimum 2+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience supporting residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of construction methods and building processes
- Excellent mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency with computers and construction-related software tools
