ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet student needs, learning and language objectives.
- Knowledge of all applicable Massachusetts State Standards and WIDA Standards.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with administrators, teachers, and other staff to strengthen all aspects of the instructional program.
- Ability to make a positive impact on student achievement by supporting teachers in their efforts to maximize the effectiveness of their instructional practice.
- Perform relevant professional tasks or duties as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or his designee as per DYEA collective bargaining agreement.
- MA DESE English as a Second Language required.
- Master's Degree, preferred.
- Current in using new instructional technologies, knowledge of their use in the classroom and willingness to learn additional instructional technologies.
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, parents and administration.
- At least 1 year relevant experience preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
