Overview
Latham Centers is seeking an experienced & mission-driven Assistant Director of Admissions to play a key leadership role in supporting and expanding admissions across both our Children’s & Adult Programs. This position is essential to ensuring a seamless, family-centered, & compliant admissions process while helping elevate Latham’s expertise & national presence. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director works collaboratively with program leadership, the Director of PWS Services, the Contract & Licensing Administrator, and Executive Leadership to support census growth, consultation services, & outreach efforts across the full continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities- Admissions Operations – Children’s & Adult Programs
- Manage & support the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
- Conduct intake screenings, application reviews, records analysis, & program fit assessments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for families, guardians, case managers, & referring agencies.
- Coordinate admissions timelines with program leadership to ensure program readiness & smooth transitions.
- Partner with the Contract & Licensing Administrator to ensure regulatory, payer, & contractual compliance.
- Track & analyze admissions data including inquiries, referrals, waitlists, census trends, & conversion metrics.
- Consultation Services
- Coordinate Latham’s consultation services for external agencies, providers, & families.
- Manage consultation inquiries, scheduling, documentation, billing coordination, & follow-up.
- Represent Latham’s expertise in Prader‑Willi syndrome & complex developmental & behavioral needs.
- Conferencing, Outreach & Thought Leadership
- Assist in planning & execution of Latham‑led conferences, trainings, webinars, & educational events.
- Support outreach & participation in regional & national conferences & professional forums.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Advancement on admissions‑related outreach, materials, & messaging.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Latham Centers with external partners & stakeholders.
- Collaboration, Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Support strategic initiatives related to census growth, program expansion, & continuum‑of‑care development.
- Identify opportunities to improve admissions workflows, tools, data tracking, & the family experience.
- Provide leadership coverage within the Admissions Department as needed.
- Contribute to cross‑departmental planning related to access, intake, & service alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; human services or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within human services, healthcare, or education.
- Demonstrated success in project management, organizational planning, or strategic execution.
- Strong background in data analysis, performance measurement, & continuous improvement processes.
- Valid driver’s license.
