We're looking for a skilled
* HGV Technician
* to join our team based in
* Yate*.
* Salary &
Hours:
* * Salary: up to £46,800 per annum, Depending on experience.
* Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x hourly rate
* Hours:
45 hours per week Monday to Friday / 06:30 - 16:00
* Contract:
Full-time, Permanent

* The Role
* * As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet to the highest safety and performance standards. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll carry out:
* Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections.
* Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
* Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
* Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
* Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.
Our vehicles arrive pre-cleaned and emptied before entering the workshop, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best - maintaining and repairing vehicles, not cleaning them.
* What We're Looking For
* * You'll ideally have:
* * NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
* Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A valid Class 2 (Category
C) HGV driving licence.
* A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.
