Supervisor, Plant Accounting

CF Industries is seeking a Supervisor, Plant Accounting to lead financial operations for our technology-driven production facilities. In this role, you will oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and plant P&L, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. You'll analyze variances, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with operations and IT to improve financial performance and data integrity. The position includes supervising a small accounting team, refining internal controls, and implementing process improvements in a collaborative, innovative environment that supports professional growth and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant cost accounting, inventory valuation, and plant-level P&LPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for plant operations
• Perform variance analysis on production, labor, and overhead costs, providing actionable insights
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned plants
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Supervise and mentor plant accounting staff, managing workloads and performance
• Collaborate with operations and IT to improve financial data accuracy and reporting efficiency
• Support capital spending analysis and project ROI evaluations
• Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices across plants
• Prepare reports and presentations for plant and corporate leadership
