Emergency Services/Security Coordinator Responsibilities

• Serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and primary Emergency Response contact, monitoring regulatory requirements and Company Standards to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement a plan for emergency response, security performance and culture, analyzing data, assumptions, resources, constraints and the location culture to devise long‑range actions that achieve that vision, ensuring alignment with EHS and Location strategy.
• Ensure compliance with DHS and US Coast Guard requirements for the facility, including all risk‑based performance standards, and manage the site TWIC program.
• Train Emergency Response Team (ERT), Incident Management Team (IMT) members and site management on emergency response procedures and standards, establishing clear expectations for ERT, IMT, and security staff, fostering continuous development of leadership and technical skills, and creating a learning environment that encourages efficient processes.
• Develop working relationships with local LEPC, Mississippi Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Department of Transportation, Federal Bureau of Investigation, local law enforcement training providers, and other key local emergency or security partners.

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, fire science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience with at least three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience in Emergency Response and/or Facility Security.
• Recent FSO, Maritime Security or relevant experience including security and emergency response required, and familiarity with DHS, US Coast Guard and DOT security regulations.
