EXCEL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities. Your expertise in industrial electrical work, adherence to safety standards, and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues will be critical in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our clients' industrial processes.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex electrical installations, including power distribution systems, control panels, motors, transformers, and other industrial electrical components.
Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted production.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and issues in industrial equipment and systems. Efficiently repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
Propose and implement electrical system upgrades and modifications to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with industrial standards.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial control systems to program, troubleshoot, and optimize processes.
Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant industrial electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
Collaboration:
Work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and production personnel to coordinate electrical work and support industrial operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history for documentation and future reference.
Qualifications:
This job requires a TWIC card in hand, and it is a DISA facility. You will be required to pass a DISA urine, hair test, and background check.
