Join the City of Yellowknife as an Administrative Assistant, providing essential clerical support and excellent public relations. Your contributions will shape the local government’s operations.
This position, reporting to the Manager of Sustainability and Solid Waste Management, requires completed training in an administrative field and two years of experience. You'll record fees for waste management services, conduct data entry, and assist in enhancing community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute a variety of administrative and clerical functions
• Document tipping fees for the Solid Waste Facility
• Handle public relations and data processing
• Liaise with residents and stakeholders effectively
• Availability to work on weekends as needed
Requirements:
• Certificate in an administrative field or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related administrative experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Skilled in MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication
