Supervisor of Adoption Services NWT

Join our team as Supervisor of Foster Care and Adoption Services in Yellowknife. Ensure effective service delivery and provide crucial clinical leadership across the Northwest Territories.

In this role, you will supervise a dedicated team of Workers while reporting to the Manager of Placement Resources. You will engage with Indigenous Governments to implement culturally safe practices and improve service quality. Recruitment, training, and fostering relationships with caregivers and communities are key components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead adoption and foster care services across the territory

• Enhance cultural safety and establish quality improvement strategies

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and communities

• Monitor training and professional development for team members

• Approve and review all relevant documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work

• At least three years of relevant experience

• One year in a supervisory role

• Strong understanding of foster care policies

• Commitment to service excellence and community partnership
