Position: Travel Coordinator for Ekati Mine
Explore a key role with Burgundy Diamond Mines as a Travel Coordinator at the Ekati operation. This full-time position focuses on passenger logistics and streamlining aircraft schedules in the diamond mining sector.

As the Travel Coordinator, you will support the Superintendent, Site Services, on a 2x2 rotation. Your duties include processing travel requests, developing recovery plans for delays, and liaising with multiple departments to ensure compliance with travel requirements. Strong strategic thinking and communication skills are vital for addressing traveler needs during stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage passenger flight schedules

• Optimize aircraft scheduling and monitor usage

• Prepare timely passenger manifests for various stakeholders

• Provide Unicom Aerodrome coverage

• Assist with unexpected weather or aircraft issues

Requirements:

• Two years of experience in aviation or travel

• High School diploma or GED

• Administrative experience of three to four years

• Familiarity with Transport Canada CARS

• Competency in SAP and Microsoft Office
