We're looking for a driven, commercially astute Outside Sales Representative to support continued growth across Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories
. This role is responsible for developing new business while strengthening existing client relationships within the heavy equipment and drilling sectors.
The successful candidate will represent industry-leading Comacchio and ABI equipment, delivering tailored solutions to contractors, developers, and infrastructure clients. This is a high-impact, field-based role suited to a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing complex equipment sales.
This role requires 60-70% travel for face-to-face meetings with clients.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry engagement
- Conduct on-site meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations to prospective customers
- Assess client needs and recommend customized equipment solutions aligned with project requirements
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to position product offerings effectively
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is considered an asset
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience within the heavy equipment, rental, drilling, construction, or related industry
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a territory-based role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand and effectively present technical products and solutions
- Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools, experience with Pike Drive is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (60–70%) across the territory
