Position: Hydrologist Role for Northwest Territories
Drive water research and management as a Hydrologist within the Department of Environment and Climate Change in Northwest Territories. This role emphasizes hydrological programs and data analysis to assess water availability.

As a Hydrologist, you will plan, design, and implement hydrological research programs crucial for understanding water quantity and variability in the NWT. Your responsibility will include leading data collection, interpretation, and presenting findings to stakeholders through scientific reports and publications. Utilize hydrological science to develop innovative solutions for water resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop hydrological research programs in field and office

• Lead hydro-climatic monitoring networks for the NWT

• Present scientific findings to diverse stakeholders

• Compile and manage scientific data holdings

• Provide expert hydrology advice to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in hydrology or environmental science

• Two years of relevant experience in hydrology

• Experience in data science and statistical modeling

• Undergraduate degree with four years of relevant experience acceptable

• Strong communication and analysis skills

Contribute to sustainable water management and environmental stewardship as a Hydrologist in the Northwest Territories.
