School Psych - Yelm, Washington

This position spans from January 5th to June 12th, with flexibility to add extra days in the event of snow closures. Qualifications:

• Current WA State Psychologist License is required
• Two or more years of experience in a school setting strongly preferred; outstanding new graduates considered
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card
• Fingerprinting (to be verified in OSI database)
• Comfortable with a caseload ratio of approximately 1 psych per 1,000 students

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for initial evaluations, referrals, and re-evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
• Manage a testing baseline of approximately 60 initial evaluations for the year (does not include re-evaluations)
• Provide expertise at three school sites, primarily elementary with options to support high school and preschool levels
• Participate in flexible scheduling to accommodate district needs
