• Active Washington teaching license specific to Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
• Previous experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in a school environment preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt instructional approaches for diverse learners

• Deliver instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, using methods and materials catered to their individual needs
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate educational records
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of IEP goals, collaborating with other service providers and educators
• Serve as an advocate for students, assisting with classroom inclusion and providing resources as needed
• Engage with families and staff, offering expertise and guidance for accessible learning opportunities
• Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
