Physical Therapist - School Setting in Yelm, WA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, serving students for the  academic year. This full-time role runs from September 9th, 2026 through June 16th, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours per week. You will make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students, supporting their growth and providing essential therapy throughout the district.

Your skills will be vital as you manage a caseload of 25-30 students, assessing and delivering personalized interventions to help each achieve their fullest potential. The position is strictly onsite, ensuring direct collaboration with staff, students, and families virtual candidates cannot be considered.

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington State or willingness to obtain licensure prior to start
• Compliance with fingerprinting requirements through OSPI (or willingness to complete upon hire)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Passion for empowering children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for K-12 students across the district
• Evaluate, document, and monitor progress to optimize student outcomes
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Contribute to program planning and advocacy for student access and mobility
• Maintain detailed records that meet state and district standards
