Make an impact in an educational setting by providing support to students who need speech and language therapy services. This contract opportunity, located near Yelm, WA, is for the full school year, with four part-time positions available. Professionals in this role work directly onsite, interacting face-to-face with students and collaborating with teachers and other staff.
Qualifications- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working independently with a diverse student population
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45-50 students efficiently
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams on student needs and interventions
- Create individualized goals and monitor outcomes for students on the caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for best student outcomes
- Four part-time positions open
- Each position is for 7.5 hours per week, onsite only (no remote or hybrid)
- Support for a caseload of 45-50 students throughout the academic year
This is a chance to provide targeted, meaningful therapy in a school environment, helping students develop essential communication skills for academic and personal success.
