Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a Management Couple for a Traditional British Coaching Inn with rooms.
Established Pub Hotel
This is a well-established community-led pub with a strong wet trade, growing food offer, and a loyal local customer base. We are now seeking an experienced General Management Couple to lead the business with energy, commercial discipline, and high standards of guest service.
The Role
You will have full accountability for the day-to-day performance of the business, leading from the front to deliver strong sales, controlled costs, and a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full P&L responsibility, driving revenue and margin performance
* Leading, training, and motivating the management and front-of-house teams
* Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a strong local reputation
* Managing rotas, labour costs, and productivity in line with trading patterns
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company procedures
* Developing promotions, events, and offers to maximise wet and food sales
* Maintaining high standards across the bar, cellar, kitchen, and public areas
About You
We are looking for proven hospitality leaders who can balance operational detail with commercial insight.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a General Manager.
* A strong background in wet-led or mixed-trade pub operations with guest accommodation
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills
* A hands-on approach with the ability to lead busy services.
* Strong financial awareness, including labour control and margin management.
* A passion for delivering great guest experiences and business promotion.
