We are located at 65 Ashburton Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701.

Full time:
Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm No weekends

Position Summary:

The Receptionist / Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This position is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming environment while managing incoming calls, greeting guests, and supporting administrative operations within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional condition.
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure facility security protocols are followed.
  • Provide general information regarding the facility, departments, and visiting hours.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Assist administrative staff with clerical duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Coordinate communication between departments when necessary.
  • Monitor lobby activity and report any concerns to appropriate staff.
  • Support scheduling of meetings or appointments as requested by administration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or long-term care setting, required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume front desk environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, email, and phone systems).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
