Job Title

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year ($21.63–$26.44 per hour)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with suppliers, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Process purchase orders and S-Dispo efficiently.
  • Understand and perform all purchasing functions, including TORG, PORG, item maintenance, pricing updates, and other related tasks.
  • Conduct research on both new and existing items as needed for the purchasing department.
  • Assist the purchasing department with database and ERP duties related to inventory, SKU maintenance, and new items.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with tasks such as stock and special-order purchasing, as well as expediting orders.
  • Maintain daily reports, including price change spreadsheets, open PO reports, and other key data.
  • Perform vendor research and ongoing market analysis to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.
  • Act as a liaison to facilitate communication and collaboration between departments and teams.
  • Confirm pricing for all purchase orders within the department.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.

  • Experience:

    At least 1 year of purchasing experience and 2 years of Microsoft Office experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High level of reliability, trustworthiness, and dependability.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working with interruptions while maintaining focus.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and verbally communicating in English.
