Responsibilities- Oversee multiple locations within the New York Metro Area.
- Manage teams, ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Conduct regular site visits, provide support and training to staff, and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule, with on-call availability for emergencies as needed.
- Foster an empathetic leadership approach to build strong relationships with employees and clients.
- Establish working relationships with clients.
- Perform required location inspections and touch bases (minimum of 1 inspection and 2 touch bases per quarter).
- Report and resolve inspection deficiencies, urgent within 24 hours.
- Screen, hire, onboard, and terminate staff.
- Train custodial technicians supporting Area Supervisors and Account Coordinators.
- Oversee new account setup.
- Assist in training staff with clocking in/out as needed.
- Monitor employee time and attendance; manage daily staffing schedules and adjust to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct weekly payroll.
- Report accidents/injuries and address employee performance issues.
- Notify HR/Payroll and Operations of all staffing changes.
- On-call for emergency situations/calls—evenings and weekends.
- Create supply orders as needed and submit service requests to the office.
- Update account spreadsheets as directed.
- Responsible for KPIs within the region.
- Perform performance reviews for direct reports.
- Experience with the commercial cleaning industry is a plus.
- Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (email, phone).
- Results-oriented with the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies promptly.
- Multi-task oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
- Customer-focused with a can-do approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Working knowledge of email, spreadsheets, smartphones, and relevant software applications.
- Clean DMV record and license.
- Strong ability to use technology.
- All other tasks as assigned by management.
