We will provide hands‑on training and mentorship.
As a Junior Project Estimator / Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to help estimate projects, coordinate construction activities, and support projects from bidding through completion.
- Assist with reviewing construction plans and specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs with guidance from senior staff.
- Request pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Help prepare project estimates and bid proposals.
- Track subcontractor quotes and organize bid documents.
- Assist with project setup and administrative tasks.
- Help prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and field personnel.
- Maintain organized project files and assist with reporting.
- Visit job sites as needed to gain field experience.
- Perform other duties that support the estimating and project management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Little to no construction experience required but interest in learning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to learn new software and construction processes.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and eager to grow professionally.
- Motivated and eager to build a career in construction.
- Comfortable working in both an office and job site environment.
- A strong problem solver who enjoys learning new skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Starting salary of $45,000–$50,000, based on experience.
