Junior Estimator

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Junior Estimator with the ability to support Estimators in developing a project bid/estimate.

The individual shall be responsible for contributing to the estimate of a project bid and working in conjunction with other Estimators to finalize an estimate. Individuals will be expected to interpret bid documents, drawings, and specifications; learn and perform takeoffs; enter takeoff quantities into HCSS (Heavy Bid Estimating Software); perform subcontractor and supplier outreach; enter subcontractor and supplier quotes into sub-system;

and price minor work items/operations, among other tasks.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will meet most, if not all, of the below criteria:

• 1-3 years’ experience as an Estimating Assistant or Junior Estimator contributing to the estimate of large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new estimating responsibilities within a reasonable timeframe
• Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite

The annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 in addition to bonus potential, 401k Safe Harbor Contribution, health benefits, paid time off, and more.
