Remote Construction Supervisor

Position: First-Line Supervisors of Construction Trades and Extraction Workers

Type: Contract

Compensation: $20 - $50/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of construction trades and extraction workers on various projects.
• Interpret and execute project plans, specifications, and work schedules to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Monitor work progress, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular site inspections remotely to maintain compliance.
• Resolve work problems, recommend measures to improve productivity and quality, and support professional growth among team members.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members through written reports and verbal updates.
• Oversee the allocation of materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining cost controls and efficiency standards.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of of experience as a First-Line Supervisor in construction trades or extraction work.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction trades, industry standards, and best practices.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills for managing remote teams and stakeholder interactions.
• Have a proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a remote work environment.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving acumen and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
