Cinematography Prompting Specialist (AI Training)
We're looking for film-fluent creatives to help train cutting-edge AI video models. As a Cinematography Prompting Specialist, you'll watch short video clips and translate what you see into precise, technically rich shot descriptions - the kind of language that only someone who truly understands cinema can produce.
Your work will directly influence how AI systems learn to understand and generate video. If you've spent years thinking in frames, lenses, and light, this is a rare opportunity to put that expertise to work in a meaningful new way.

- Watch short video clips and identify key shots, transitions, and visual moments
- Describe framing, camera movement, blocking, lighting, and composition using accurate film terminology
- Write structured prompts that capture the look, feel, and intent of each shot
- Note stylistic references and cinematographic choices where relevant
- Follow internal templates for shot-level and sequence-level descriptions
- Distinguish between effective and ineffective prompt examples when needed
- Maintain consistent terminology, depth, and clarity across all tasks
- Background in cinematography, camera operation, editing, directing, or film studies
- Ability to describe shots fluently using film language and technical terminology
- Sharp eye for visual detail - composition, lens character, movement, and tone
- Strong written communication and ability to stay consistent across repetitive tasks
- Experience writing prompts for AI video or image generation tools
- Professional credits as a DP, camera operator, director, or editor
- Familiarity with AI training or annotation workflows
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects at the frontier of video generation technology
