We re looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Nocturnist who knows how to hold it down when the sun goes down. This isn t a just make it through the shift kind of gig this is a well-respected, well-oiled hospitalist program with a strong support system and actual work-life balance baked in. Yes, even for nights.
Here s what you ll get into:
12-hour shifts (you know the drill)
Straight nights only no flip-flopping schedules
shifts per month (aka, you ll have a life)
Closed ICU (so no, you re not flying solo in the trenches)
Procedures are optional (repeat: optional)
5 7 admissions per night + RRT
Cross coverage is handled by NPs because delegation is powerful
Start date:
flexible, 3 to 6 months out

Base comp starts at $270K and scales with experience:
0 2 yrs: $270K
3 5 yrs: $280K
6 9 yrs: $290K
10+ yrs:

What you bring to the table:
MD or DO with a valid NYS license (or on track to obtain it)
Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
A cool head, a confident hand, and enough clinical judgment to know when to intervene and when to let the NP take the page
