We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Yonkers, NY. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and related disorders. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
Required- Bachelor’s degree special education (MSED)
- Teacher’s certification for students with disabilities birth- grade 2
- Utilize early intervention strategies and learning technologies to promote literacy and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
- State certification in Special Education
- Experience working with children with special needs, specifically those with developmental disabilities and autism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
