Responsible for carrying out the NYS music curriculum
- Developing lesson plans to be submitted weekly
- Teaching general styles of music
- Incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons
- Knowledge of liturgical hymns and ability to teach students liturgical hymns
- Experience with conducting production/performances:
Lower School Christmas pageant and Sprint Concert for Upper School - Preparing students for school concerts and planned music experiences
- Communicates well with parents
- Create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music
- Strong knowledge of technology and utilizing technology to enhance music instruction
- Google Classroom experience
Salary Range is $177 - $261 per diem, depending on degree.
