OverviewUnder general supervision, performs the full scope of duties associated with professional pharmacy practice.
ResponsibilitiesIs empowered to use judgment in the decision‑making process within their sphere of activity.
Requirements- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy) plus current license and registration to practice in New York State.
- Pharm
D or MS degree and/or completion of Pharmacy Residency Program may be used as a substitute for some experience. - Minimum of three years' experience as a pharmacist in Hospital Pharmacy with accepted standards of practice, outpatient experience is preferred.
- Maintains professional competence through participation in continuing education programs and review of periodical literature.
- Maintains and provides proof of 15 Continuing Education credits each year.
