We are seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to provide ABA therapy to clients in Yonkers, NY. Under BCBA supervision, you will implement behavior plans, collect data, and support skill development in social, communication, and daily living areas across home, school, and community settings. Candidates must hold an active RBT certification, have at least six months of experience, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by BCBAs to improve social, communication, and daily living skills.
• Provide 1-on-1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.
• Collect and accurately document data on client progress and behavior during each session.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust and refine interventions based on data and client needs.
• Support and train families or caregivers to understand and reinforce behavior techniques.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to encourage skill development.
• Maintain professional communication with BCBAs, families, and other care team members.
• Ensure a safe environment by implementing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies as needed.

Experience

• Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• College Degree Preferred
• At least six months of experience working as an RBT.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients, families, and team members.
• Reliable transportation to travel between service locations (if needed).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
