Executive Park Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy | Yonkers, NY
Executive Park Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy has served Westchester for over 20 years, with a focus on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post operative recovery, and chronic pain.
We emphasize evidence based care, progressive exercise and loading, patient education, and objective measures of strength and function to guide treatment and track progress.
We’re looking primarily for a full time Physical Therapist, although we’re also open to per diem.
What the job actually looks likeYou’ll evaluate and treat a broad orthopedic and sports population while having the autonomy to make clinical decisions and develop individualized plans of care.
You’ll work alongside experienced PTs, PTAs, and rehab aides in a collaborative outpatient environment. You’ll have clinical support throughout the day while maintaining ownership of your patients and clinical decision making.
What mentorship actually means hereWe don’t use “mentorship” as a recruiting buzzword.
We actually discuss cases, challenge each other’s reasoning, review evidence, and talk through why we’re choosing a particular intervention.
That can include exercise selection and progression, differential diagnosis, pain science, manual therapy, objective strength testing, return to sport, difficult cases, and interpreting new research.
You’ll be encouraged to ask questions and defend your reasoning. You should also be comfortable receiving information that may challenge what you currently believe.
We don’t expect you to know everything. We expect you to want to keep getting better.
New graduates will have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced clinicians rather than being expected to figure everything out on their own.
What we offer- Base salary starting at $90,000, with higher compensation based on experience
- Additional bonus compensation
- 401(k) with employer match up to 4%
- Paid continuing education
- Ongoing clinical mentorship
- Support from PTAs and rehab aides
- Established independent practice with over 20 years in the community
Someone who enjoys orthopedics and wants to become a better clinician.
Someone who asks why, not just what exercise to give.
Someone who can think independently but also likes discussing cases with other clinicians.
Someone who is willing to reconsider an opinion when the evidence or clinical picture points somewhere else.
New graduates are welcome. Outpatient orthopedic or sports experience is preferred, but curiosity, clinical reasoning, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more to us than simply having years on a résumé.
Requirements- New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Commitment to evidence based, patient centered care
