As an Access Coordinator at Amery Hospital & Clinic, you will manage the technical aspects of the clinic templates for Primary Care and Specialty Care within EPIC; ensuring provider needs are met within the guidelines or AHC and/or department scheduling requirements. This position is also responsible for keeping templates updated, as system or provider changes occur, and coordinating changes with clinic staff and/or Call Center staff.
This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of Amery Hospital & Clinic
Work Schedule:
- 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday day hours
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum two years experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Completion of position-related 2-year program, such as Medical Administrative Specialist or Medical Office Specialist.
- Experience in EPIC computer system.
