You Are:The Epic PB Analyst plays a key role in supporting and optimizing the Epic Professional Billing application. This role partners closely with revenue cycle teams, clinical staff, operational leaders, and IT to ensure that billing workflows are efficient, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.
The opportunity:- Application Support & Optimization
- Build, configure, and maintain Epic PB functionality, including charge capture, claims processing, work queues, payment posting, and follow up workflows.
- Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Project & Enhancement Work
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancement requests, optimization initiatives, and new feature evaluations.
- Lead or support project tasks such as requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and go live support.
- Collaboration & Customer Service
- Work closely with revenue cycle, finance, compliance, and clinical teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer support and act as a trusted partner to operational stakeholders.
- Testing & Documentation
- Develop and execute test plans for upgrades, fixes, and enhancements.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, including build records, workflow diagrams, end user guides, and training materials.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Assist with or deliver training for end users as needed.
- Support knowledge-sharing within the IT team to ensure continuity and alignment.
- Preferred:
- Epic PB Certification or accreditation (PB Analyst, Claims, Charge Router, or related).
- Prior work experience in a healthcare system, physician group, or revenue cycle operations.
- Experience with workflow analysis and process improvement.

What you need:- Experience supporting Epic PB, revenue cycle systems, or similar healthcare billing applications.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Understanding of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD coding concepts, claims workflows, and reimbursement processes.
- Preferred:
- Epic PB Certification or accreditation (PB Analyst, Claims, Charge Router, or related).
- Prior work experience in a healthcare system, physician group, or revenue cycle operations.
- Experience with workflow analysis and process improvement.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $118,000-$177,000
