Position: Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA)

Overview

Shadowscape is expanding our CMMC practice and is looking for a CCA ready to lead assessments, mentor junior assessors, and help defense contractors navigate CMMC Level 2 compliance. (Lead CCAs preferred)

✅ Remote (U.S. only) – Idaho or Colorado candidates will be given extra preference. ✅ Competitive salary + performance incentives. ✅ Opportunity to shape a growing CMMC practice. ✅ Work directly with defense, DoD, and high‑impact clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead CMMC assessments for defense contractors.
  • Mentor and coach junior assessors.
  • Guide clients through CMMC Level 2 compliance requirements.
  • Provide expertise on NIST SP 800‑171/DFARS and GRC principles.
Qualifications
  • Active CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) credential (Lead CCAs preferred).
  • Experience with NIST SP 800‑171/DFARS.
  • Strong GRC knowledge.
  • U.S. citizenship; security clearance preferred.
