The Team Lead will lead a dynamic team focused on expanding and enhancing Epic software throughout Montefiore Health System. Responsibilities include hands‑on participation and oversight of workflow analysis, data collection, system design, and technical troubleshooting associated with Epic solutions.

• Oversee and delegate tasks, guiding team members in the execution of responsibilities.
• Provide performance management feedback and identify training needs for team members.
• Participate in staffing decisions, including promotions and hiring.
• Lead project planning activities, clearly defining project scope, objectives, resource needs, and priorities.
• Proactively identify, communicate, and manage project risks and issues.
• Provide high‑level client service by resolving escalated incidents through advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and vendor collaboration.
• Identify highly complex, non‑routine issues and recommend corrective action.
• Develop solutions for new system requirements.
• Provide expertise in design and planning and ensure that appropriate technical designs are implemented.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure system efficiency, adherence to standards, and operational feasibility.
• Maintain expertise in industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business trends to effectively advise management and team members.
• Provide 24x7 remote on‑call support on a rotating schedule, and as‑needed on‑site support within Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and affiliates.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Epic Care Ambulatory or Orders certification is required.
• 6+ years of related Epic and healthcare operations experience, including ambulatory workflows and practices.
• Prior leadership experience in a supervisory, Team Lead, or Technical Lead role within IT, including team coordination, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience supporting primary care, behavioral health, and social work workflows preferred.
• Experience in Epic application implementation, configuration, go‑live support, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, along with effective technical documentation abilities.
• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient desktop skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working directly with clinical and business end users.
