Hashi Corp’s Terraform Developer Experience Team is looking for a passionate engineer to collaborate on innovative solutions for the Terraform ecosystem.

In this remote-first role, you’ll be an Engineer II, working alongside a talented team to:

• Design, develop, and champion new features for the Terraform Plugin Framework
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on multi-faceted engineering projects
• Write clear and concise technical documentation (including RFCs)
• Foster a healthy open-source community around Terraform plugins
• Provide code reviews and technical guidance to teammates and the community

Are you a perfect fit?

• You have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• You’re an expert in Go development with API development experience
• You’re a Terraform enthusiast (bonus points for building/maintaining a plugin!)
• You thrive in an open-source development environment
• You enjoy collaboration in a fast-paced, remote team
• You have excellent written communication skills and leverage code review tools effectively
