We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Snowflake to manage, optimize, and support our enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of the Snowflake and AWS based SQL Server data platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake advanced administration.

This role will be responsible for administrating Montefiore’s AI-ready data Lakehouse in Snowflake that houses complex data solutions supporting Montefiore’s business functions. This role is also critical to scaling our data and insights capabilities, empowering teams with actionable insights, and supporting our mission to improve Patient healthcare.

** within the Data and Analytics function leverages their skills across Predictive, Generative, and Agentic AI solutions to improve health for a diverse community and redesign the healthcare experiences. You have the opportunity to work with complex AI/ML/LLM-based solutions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving landscape, answering critical business and clinical questions. This role is critical to scaling our analytics capabilities, empowering teams with actionable insights, and supporting our mission to improve Patient healthcare.

** Essential Functions
*** Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ML/AI related platforms and products.
* Propose, design, develop and implement cloud-based AI solutions that ensure the agility, flexibility, and scalability of our systems.
* Drive technical design discussions and provide guidance to team members on MLOps best practices, standards and principles.
* Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to drive the development of new features and products, ensuring they meet the Montefiore’s AI governance standards and policies.
* Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive ML/AI innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes.
