EssentialJob Duties
- Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment; overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability; completing lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
- Tracking and evaluating advertising and all client traffic.
- Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team—including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel—to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
- Driving revenues through thorough understanding and analysis of competition and developing creative marketing programs.
- Leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervising day‑to‑day operations of the entire on‑site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintaining effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
- Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company standards.
- Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
- Managing and maintaining all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.
- Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Determining leasing opportunities for staff and working on goal setting to improve performance.
- Supervising day‑to‑day operations of the team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
- Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are met.
- Managing a team.
- Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Real Estate License preferred.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- 3+ years of Management experience.
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel is required.
Physical DemandsEmployees may need to stand, walk, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools, and travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, remain in a stationary position 85% of the time, operate office machinery, travel up to 15% of the time, and exert up to 25 pounds when required.

CompensationCompensation ranges from $78,625.00 to $92,500.00 and may vary depending on location, market pay rates, and candidate experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
