• Salary: $21.00 - $25.00/hr depending on experience

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are currently seeking Material Control Attendants in Yonkers, NY.

• Performing material control functions such as kiting, tracking, and moving materials using written work procedures and engineering drawings.
• Assembling kits with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handling warehousing duties including shipping and receiving while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Conducting cycle counts to maintain shelf locations as prescribed by written work procedures.
• Utilizing SAP and the company’s inventory system to verify inventory, research transactions, and manage issues and receipts effectively.
• Supporting production by servicing and expediting materials, identifying shortages, and tracking material flow.
• Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall manufacturing operations.
• Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Performing additional warehouse and stockroom duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in material control, stockroom, warehouse, or related manufacturing support roles.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• SAP experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret written work procedures and engineering drawings.
• Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong arithmetic, counting, and inventory tracking skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as tape measures, hammers, and nails.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
  
  Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling materials weighing at least 40 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing stairs and ladders in an active industrial setting.
