WJCS is currently seeking a full-time Clinic Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative leadership to nursing staff across our four CCBHCs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, integrated healthcare services while supporting staff development, program compliance, and exceptional client care.

The salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $115,000, plus additional opportunities for supplemental income.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in our four CCBHCs.
  • Oversee comprehensive nursing assessments, including psychiatric history, mental status evaluations, physical functioning, vital signs, substance use screening, social functioning, health education, and activities of daily living.
  • Train, mentor, and support nursing staff in clinical procedures, policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor staff productivity, quality of care, and compliance with agency, state, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee physical health and wellness services, including referrals, appointment scheduling, care coordination, and communication with hospitals, primary care providers, and other healthcare partners.
  • Ensure timely completion and oversight of prior authorizations, prescription monitoring program (I-STOP) reviews, and other medication-related processes.
  • Monitor electronic health records to ensure nursing documentation, laboratory results, and external medical reports are complete, accurate, and current.
  • Oversee the maintenance, calibration, inspection, and regulatory compliance of medical equipment.
  • Travel regularly to the clinic locations to support staff and operations.
Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience, preferably in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or integrated healthcare settings.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, motivational interviewing, and wellness-focused treatment approaches.
  • Strong understanding of care coordination and integrated physical and behavioral healthcare models.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or training nursing staff.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care to underserved and vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to travel to agency locations as needed.
