Stock Associate

Position Overview The Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. They also organize, maintain, and keep the stock room clean and ready for display.

Reports To: Store Management

• Create a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code.
• Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by keeping store standards and cleanliness in the stock room and on the selling floor.

• Notify management of any shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns in the stock room.
• Sensor, steam, fold, and hang merchandise as needed.
• Bring new goods to the selling floor and replenish merchandise from the stock room.
• Execute transfers, RTVs (Return to Vendor), manage damages, and handle customer charge sends.
• Ensure the stock room is organized, clean, and merchandise is floor‑ready at all times.

• Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management.
• Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Work flexibly with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100 %.
• Actively perform housekeeping and maintenance duties.

• Participate in all store meetings and related functions.
• Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete additional duties as assigned by store management.
• Perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
