Retail Store Manager

L.L.Bean is seeking a Retail Associate Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You'll support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching a high-performing team, and upholding visual and operational standards that reflect our outdoor heritage. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and performance feedback; managing inventory and merchandising; resolving customer issues; and ensuring accurate cash handling.

You'll model our culture of integrity, teamwork, and love of the outdoors while helping teammates grow and maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in daily store operations and execution of company standards
• Lead, coach, and motivate sales associates to achieve sales and service goals
• Manage staff scheduling, task delegation, and on-shift supervision
• Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns
• Oversee visual merchandising, stock presentation, and brand standards
• Monitor inventory levels, execute replenishment, and support loss prevention efforts
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS procedures, and daily reconciliation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and staff
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance feedback for team members
