Job Description
  • Attend conferences, webinars and networking events in the industry
  • Call & email qualified leads to generate awareness, interest and demand in Recyclist’s solutions
  • Schedule & conduct qualifier sales calls with interested leads
  • Schedule product demos and communicate with qualified accounts
  • Document daily activity in CRM to track performance
  • Execute various research and data entry projects with the goal of analyzing the end results to better the customer experience and our internal goals
  • Embrace and stay up-to-date on recycling industry news and customer updates
  • Learning the value proposition of Recyclist’s products and services, and understanding the problems that we’re solving as a company
  • Assist in establishing effective sales strategies and tactics to identify new leads
  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Wear multiple hats! We’re a small, growing company where responsibilities in multiple roles may overlap
Qualifications
  • Ability to work closely as a team, and self-motivate, while working remotely
  • Access to reliable, strong internet
  • Proficient verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Extremely organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Willing to safely travel to in-person industry events with large groups of people
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, account management, project management or B2B sales or marketing related position
Bonus Points (Preferred Experience)
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)
  • Familiarity with local government sales cycles and decision processes
  • Experience working with legal contracts and negotiations
  • Background in sustainability, local government or B2B SaaS
  • Experience with low-code, web-based application building
  • Familiarity with the zero waste and solid waste & recycling industries
