Security Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily security operations, staffing, scheduling, and client relationships within a fast‑paced security services environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining staffing coverage, supporting security personnel, and delivering exceptional customer service across multiple client locations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions‑driven, and experienced in managing teams in a service‑oriented industry. Prior security industry, law enforcement, or military experience is strongly preferred.

• Manage long‑term scheduling and staffing for assigned client locations
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, security personnel, and leadership
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with company policies and post orders
• Supervise Security Officers, Site Supervisors, and Field Supervisors
• Monitor staffing levels, overtime, attendance, and employee performance
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and orientation of new hires
• Ensure timely response to client concerns and operational issues
• Implement corrective action plans and assist with investigations when needed
• Maintain accurate operational reports, payroll adjustments, and scheduling records
• Ensure all assigned personnel maintain required licenses and certifications
• Support emergency response operations and serve as Manager on Duty when assigned
• Utilize operational platforms such as Win Team, Lighthouse, EHub, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• 3–5 years of management experience in a fast‑paced service environment
• Prior security industry, military, or law enforcement experience highly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
• Experience with scheduling, employee supervision, and operational management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer‐based scheduling/payroll systems
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Valid Security Guard License required where applicable
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Professional communication and de‑escalation capabilities
• Dependable, adaptable, and team‑oriented leadership style
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Full‑time position
• Combination of office, field, and client‑site work
• Weekly site visits required
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, emergencies, and occasional overnight shifts
• Remote work is not permitted without approval

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various environments
