** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building surroundings while assisting with property rules, directions, and general support at the location.

+ Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and incidents that may impact daily operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
