Location: City of Yonkers
Role Overview
Families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every dimension of their lives. You will become the one who has been absent until now. You will be the individual they reach out to during moments of uncertainty, when intuition signals something is amiss, or when they wish to share an experience they know you will appreciate. Your deep understanding of each family will anticipate their needs before they are voiced, and you will address those needs with tact, sincerity, and seamless execution.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Take full ownership of the relationship with every family on campus, ensuring parents feel understood and supported.
- Identify and address concerns proactively, resolving them with discretion and interpersonal sophistication that preserves trust.
- Maintain a visible presence during key moments: morning arrivals (7–9 am), afternoon departures (2–4 pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend activities.
- Cultivate a campus culture with authentic depth—programming, rituals, and engagement points that foster belonging families actively defend.
- Develop parent champions through organic relationship‑building, delivering consistent quality experiences that naturally generate referrals.
- Navigate ongoing dialogue around Alpha’s AI‑powered approach with families, managing screen‑time concerns, skeptical relatives, and occasional reservations across the entire enrollment tenure.
- Recognize when a family alignment is unsuitable and address it with poise, safeguarding the community by serving it.
- Establish the structures and rhythms required for this role in an emerging operational framework.
- Overseeing enrollment—this is the Admissions Director’s responsibility; your engagement begins after families enrol.
- Operating from behind a desk—your visibility within the community defines the role.
- Adhering to conventional 9–5 schedules—early starts, extended afternoons, and evening programming are inherent, not exceptions.
- Relying on extensive administrative infrastructure—you will have substantial autonomy and create what is needed.
- Approaching family relationships as transactional accounts—authentic connection rewards over procedural adherence.
