Protocol Engineer

Fully Remote, Full Time, Equity, Remote (Europe preferred)

Reflect is a financial technology company building decentralized, credibly neutral infrastructure for yield-bearing stable coins. We are making stable coins powerful, programmable and productive tools, so they can better serve networks, protocols, developers and communities, instead of banks and centralised issuers. Reflect is a lean, highly technical, remote-first team based in Europe (United Kingdom, Italy, Poland). We’ve recently raised a $3.75 million seed round led by a16z crypto CSX.

The product is currently in invite-only alpha access for selected individuals and is soon launching publicly. We’re looking for high agency individuals who want to build at the edge of stablecoin innovation.

We are looking for a Protocol Engineer to develop the core of Reflect’s on-chain infrastructure, powering and securing our stable coins.

In this role, you’ll build efficient DeFi primitives, integrate third-party protocols and implement delta-neutral strategies for Reflect.

• Maintain and build Solana programs using the Anchor framework.
• Test Solana programs and simulate their behavior in various scenarios.
• Understand and integrate external DeFi protocols and primitives.
• Work on the architecture, optimizing for security and readability of our systems.
• Participate in code reviews.

• 2+ years of experience writing production-grade Rust code.
• 2+ years of experience writing programs on the Solana blockchain with the Anchor framework or similar.
• Deep understanding of DeFi primitives: liquidity pools, lending markets, perpetual futures, LSTs.
• Familiarity with the Pinocchio framework or native Solana programs.
• Strong understanding of the Solana runtime.
• Understanding and prioritization of good security practices and access control rules.
• Up-to-date with the latest updates of the Solana runtime and developer tooling.
• Experience integrating existing DeFi protocols.

• Experience in high-frequency trading, market making or quantitative finance.
• Deep understanding of delta-neutral strategies.
• Experience working with yield-bearing assets.
• Experience or familiarity with restaking protocols (e.g. Jito, Eigenlayer).
• Experience building and maintaining a large DeFi protocol ($>100M TVL).
